Hawley Primary is looking for someone to join our warm and friendly school. The Admin Officer role is varied and busy, no two days are the same. You will perform essential administrative tasks, spanning communications, finance and technology. Over time you will be one of the key members of staff who everyone in our school community will get to know, trust and rely on, allowing you to adapt and respond effectively to the school’s needs.

Located in the heart of Camden, Hawley Primary School is a vibrant, happy and diverse community. We are a single form entry school and we work in partnership with parents, carers and the local community to provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment, where children, their families and our staff feel welcomed, valued and respected.

We are ambitious for all of our pupils and work hard to set and achieve high standards. Students are well-behaved, engaged and excited about their learning. At Hawley there is a focus on teamwork and staff working collaboratively alongside supportive leaders. We are committed to creating strong partnerships and strive to create an aspirational environment where staff can be challenged and achieve their potential, whilst feeling supported.

This role is special because, at times, you will be the face of the school when students, families and visitors walk in, as well as our voice when answering calls and enquiries. As the Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school functions efficiently and that the office is able to support staff, students and their families alongside the wider community. You will be responsible for supporting the Office Manager with finance and other admin tasks, including managing our school website, calendar, the main email inbox and correspondence with our families.

We are looking for someone with a professional, approachable and caring manner. The office is a busy place and you will need to be able to prioritise your tasks and work efficiently, whilst ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding are at the core of what you do.
