Hawley Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher, with experience of working in Upper Key Stage 2, to join our warm and friendly team in September 2024.

Our school is located in the heart of Camden Town, with excellent transport links and proximity to numerous attractions and facilities. This gives us opportunities to provide an enriched and creative curriculum.

We serve a richly diverse community and we are strongly committed to being inclusive. We are a single form entry school and we work in partnership with parents and the local community to provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment, where children, their families and our staff feel welcomed, valued and respected.

We are ambitious for all of our pupils and we work hard to set and achieve high standards. Students are well-behaved, engaged and excited about their learning.

We offer teachers the opportunity to work in a positive and creative environment. At Hawley there is a strong focus on teamwork and staff working collaboratively alongside supportive senior leaders. We are committed to creating strong partnerships, where everyone can develop their pedagogy and achieve their full potential. We are looking for a passionate teacher who will share our ethos.

The successful candidate will have excellent classroom organisation and positive behaviour management skills, alongside a proven ability to plan and deliver clear and well sequenced lessons.

We will offer the successful candidate opportunities to further develop their teaching and subject leadership skills.

Informal visits or conversations with the Headteacher are welcomed by prior appointment. Please contact the School Office to arrange a time via admin@hawley.camden.sch.uk or on 020 7485 5020.
