At Hawley Primary School, we value difference and diversity. We have a welcoming and inclusive ethos. We want all pupils to have the opportunity to achieve their personal potential. The achievements of all children are celebrated and our expectation is that every child will be fully involved in the life of our school.

We are committed to providing the physical environment and support necessary to enable children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to have a high quality education and to take part in school life with enthusiasm.

We work hard to ensure that staff have the knowledge and skills to support children with SEND.

We work very closely with families to maintain a consistent approach between home and school wherever possible and to share successful strategies and resources.

You will find more information regarding how we support children with SEND in our Hawley Information Report and in our SEND Policy 2021 (see related documents).
